Seasonal Selections

At Punkin Pastries, we love keeping things fresh—literally! Our seasonal muffins and cookies are inspired by what’s growing right here in Michigan. When you buy something seasonal from us, you’re getting fresh-picked flavors, supporting local farms, and tasting the very best of what nature has to offer.

Plus, it keeps things fun! Every season brings new ingredients and new ideas, so there’s always something exciting (and delicious) to look forward to at our booth. Whether it’s apple cinnamon muffins in the fall or strawberry lemon cookies in the summer, our seasonal goodies are our way of celebrating the simple joy of eating what’s in season. We bake what’s fresh, what’s local, and what we’d want to eat ourselves—and we can’t wait to share it with you!

About us...

What's with the name?

The story goes that I was making a ton of pumpkin recipes. One day, after a long baking session, my husband jokingly called me  "punkin" while sneaking a cookie off the cooling rack. The name just stuck! Over time, "Punkin" became a sweet reminder of why I started baking gluten-free in the first place: for my family, with love and a lot of laughs along the way. Now, through Punkin Pastries, I get to share that same feeling—of home, happiness, and delicious treats—with everyone.

Crafted with Love

Punkin Pastries brings joy to gluten-free living with delicious, handcrafted baked goods made in small batches from a home kitchen in Pinckney, MI. We believe everyone deserves indulgent treats—without compromise and without gluten.

Every creation is a labor of love. We believe in using the finest ingredients to bake delightful treats that bring joy to every bite. From classic pastries to innovative flavors, our passion for baking shines through in every product.

Our Story

Punkin Pastries began in our family kitchen after our kids were diagnosed with gluten allergies. As a professional baker, it broke my heart to see them miss out on the simple joys of cookies and cupcakes just because of an ingredient. So I got to work transforming our favorite recipes into delicious gluten-free treats that everyone could enjoy—no compromises.

What started as a way to keep our family healthy and included has grown into a mission to share that same love and comfort with our community. The name “Punkin” was a sweet nickname from my husband during a season of pumpkin baking, and it stuck—just like the joy of baking for the people you love.
